GES offers various different types of construction services. We specialize in construction monitoring and inspections.  Qualified engineers provide on site monitoring of the installation of piles, rock anchors, building underpins and other geotechnical structures. Our engineers perform thorough inspections to ensure every job meets the codes required by local jurisdictions.

Detailed documentation is kept as a reference for our clients. We also provide local municipalities with the documentation required to obtain the sign-off on the project.

GES provides subsurface investigations utilizing a variety of approved methods including but not limited to the use of test borings, test pits, cone penetrometer tests, and groundwater monitoring wells. Test borings and cone penetrometer tests allow GES to determine the geotechnical properties of the underlying soil. Test pits allow GES to investigate existing foundations by examining existing concrete footings and/or piles. Under contract to GES, Parallel Seismic Testing can be performed to determine the depth of existing piles. Using all these methods, GES is able to assess soil conditions and existing foundations.

GES offers consulting services to both commercial and residential properties. We specialize in shallow foundations, deep foundations, retaining walls and various other related structures. We use our geotechnical engineering experience and knowledge to assess our clients during the design and construction phases.
