Qualified engineers provide on site monitoring of the installation of piles, rock anchors, building underpinning and other geotechnical related procedures. Our engineers perform thorough inspections to ensure every job meets the requirements of local jurisdiction codes.

Detailed documentation is kept as a reference for our clients. We also provide local municipalities with the documentation required to obtain the sign-off on the project.

GES provides subsurface investigations utilizing a variety of approved methods including but not limited to the use of test borings, test pits, cone penetrometer tests, and groundwater monitoring wells, in accordance with the requirements of the latest local codes. Test borings and cone penetrometer tests help GES determine soil properties, while test pits investigate existing foundations and shallow soil conditions. Under contract to GES, Parallel Seismic Testing can be performed to determine the depth of existing piles. Using these methods, GES is able to assess soil conditions and existing foundations.
